Who:
Zoë Corbett (aka Rose Duck*) joins rede2 Ltd as Travel Operations Manager to further strengthen the travel team. red e2 are a Gloucester based events agency who specialise in corporate events, conferences and business incentive travel.
Then:
Zoë has a strong events and travel background, and most recently organised large medical conferences for a London based agency. Prior to that Zoë worked as a freelance Logistics Manager and was involved in projects such as the Olympics, G8 Summit, and a round-the-world Guinness record project for Shell International.
Now:
Zoë has relocated from the ‘big smoke’ to the red e2 offices - a quaint converted barn in rural Gloucestershire, so this is quite a lifestyle change for her. She sees this as a fresh start and a challenge where she can utilise her skills and experience and enjoy the fresh air!
Zoë’s role at red e2 is to oversee all travel and event operations. Now red e2 stands at a very solid 10 employees all with their relevant skill sets which include – events, travel, project management, business, marketing, design and finance.
Strengths:
Zoë brings to the company broad experience from working on corporate and non-for-profit events at home and overseas. Zoë has a cheerful and willing disposition and her skills and attributes will enhance those of the events team to enable the team to continue further to deliver outstanding events and incentive programmes.
Weakness:
Like a lot of people at management level, Zoë finds it difficult to delegate work; as she sees it as - ‘it’s quicker to do it yourself’, which a lot of the time it is! But she will find out that her red e2 colleagues are more than happy to work together as a team and she will soon be able to give her projects away with confidence.
Zoë’s Favourite Saying:
“You’re only as good as your last event!”
