A Gloucester based corporate events company red e2 Ltd has joined forces with a local charity; The James Hopkins Trust to help them with their much needed annual funds.
The James Hopkins Trust also based in Gloucester, provides practical respite nursing care for over 40 families who have children with life threatening or life limiting illnesses. They need to raise in excess of £250,000 each year purely through donations and charity events, with little centralised funding available for the free nursing services provided by the charity.
red e2 Ltd a corporate events and incentive travel company who work with large national companies, will make a donation to the Trust on every event they run with help from their client base.
On average red e2 takes over 4,000 business people on 50 events a year. And the donations will range from £1 per person to £5 per person. This optional donation is added to each of red e2’s client event costs and is then matched with a like for like contribution from red e2.
Peter Jackson Commercial Director at red e2 said “we are delighted to be able to help the families of Gloucestershire and also provide our event experience to assist The James Hopkins Trust with their annual golf day, auction, and Dean Dawdle children’s walk – together with their other funding activities.”
The Trust’s fundraising developer Colin Dyer said “we are delighted to have the support of such a forward-thinking company as red e2 and I am sure the Trust will benefit greatly both from their fundraising and their input. Without the assistance of businesses and individuals in Gloucestershire we simply wouldn’t be able to reach as many of the county’s special children and their families.”
